Root Shamanism and Shamanic Journeys Training
The history of shamanism dates back to 50,000 BC, perhaps even earlier. It is as old as humanity.
For Shaman, nature, human, the sky, the universe are one and the same thing. For the shaman, everyone and everything is alive and has a soul. Planet Earth, plants, seas, oceans, mountains, stars, animals and humans, and also non-physical entities; all sentient beings are alive and conscious.
This dimension we live in is not the only reality, there are more dimensions that we can not access into with the ordinary ways.
Shamanism divides the universe we live in into three dimensions, the lower world, the middle world, and the upper world. This trilogy also reflects the structure of our brain. Reptilian brain, mammalian brain and neocortex. Subconscious, conscious and higher consciousness.
In the lower world, there are beings living in a heavier density with a heavier frequency and in the psychological term this world represent the subconscious. We can travel to this world to meet our power animal. When we travel to the lower world, we ask healing with the help of our power animal or asking some questions related to our inner/deeper inner world.
Middle earth represents consciousness and we humans live in this dimension.
The upper world is where lighter beings live. We travel to this world to meet our teachers for advice and knowledge.
Anyone can embark on a Shaman journey. We can go on shamanic journeys without being a shaman.
When we experience indecision in our daily life, when we seek information and support, when we want to reduce stress, when we seek physical and inner healing, we can go on a shamanic journey.
So how? With a shaman drum, beats that match the rhythm of the heart, and we perform a ritual to go to the shamanic journeys to deep corners of ourselves.
